New offer and a visit set for Long Beach DT

Long Beach head coach Brett Peabody informed JCFootball.com that one of his top prospects, DT David Davis (6-2, 295), has received an offer from a Pac 12 program and recently set up a visit to that same school...

Peabody told JCFootball.com that Davis has received an offer from California.

The offer is Davis' fourth, joining the offers he already possessed from UTEP, Wyoming and New Mexico.

Peabody also noted that Davis has set up a visit with Cal for December 6th.

Davis signed with Washington State out of high school, but left following the 2012 season.

This season, while playing multiple positions along the Vikings' defensive line, Davis has posted 24 tackles, two sacks and four tackles-for-loss.

He is on pace to graduate in December and he will have two years to play two following the 2013 football season.
