Five Iowa Western Players Receive Offers

CB Jamie Byrd - The Arizona commit has been steadfast in his decision to become a Wildcat, but that hasn't stopped schools from continuing to recruit him. Recently he received an offer from Southern Miss. That offer joined the full ride from Arizona as well as Georgia State, Illinois and Middle Tennessee. Byrd has totaled 44 tackles, two tackles-for-loss one fumble recovery, two interceptions and six pass breakups.

DE Landon Schultz - The sophomore defensive end has 25 tackles, three sacks and 5.5 tackles-for-loss so far this season. He recently received his first offer from South Dakota State.

OG Kato Fawkes - Fawkes received an offer from Savannah State. He already had an offer from Idaho.

OG Travis Zimmerman - Zimmerman already had offers from Florida Atlantic, Florida International, Georgia State, Idaho State, Northern Iowa, UC Davis and Western Illinois and he recently got an offer from Wyoming.

DE Trevon Young - Western Michigan is the first of what promises to be many offers for the gifted pass-rusher. He's posted 11.5 tackles and 20 tackles-for-loss to go along with 41 tackles, one forced fumble and two fumble recovery.
