Hedelin Talks Trips, Future Plans

As one of the top JUCO offensive linemen still available, City College of San Francisco OT David Hedelin (6-5, 285) is a player with a lot of options. He recently updated JCFootball.com on where he will visit this weekend as well as what his future plans may entail...

Hedelin currently boasts over 30 offers including full rides from the likes of Arizona, Arizona State, Arkansas, California, Cincinnati, Florida, Florida Atlantic, Kansas, Kansas State, Kentucky, Michigan State, Mississippi, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Oregon, Oregon State, Tennessee, Texas Tech, USC, Washington State, West Virginia and Western Kentucky.

He's already visited one school and he's set up visits with two others including one that he plans to visit this weekend.

"I visited Michigan State back in October for their game against Indiana and I'm visiting Oregon State this weekend and I will visit Arizona on January 17th," Hedelin noted. "I'm still looking at what plans I can make with two other schools because I have those other visits available, but right now, those are the only ones that I plan to visit."

Hedelin, a native of Sweden, is a rock-solid 285-pounder with solid feet and quickness and, considering he's still rather new to the game, he's got a tremendous upside and that's what schools like about him.

"My coaches say I'm coachable because I listen and then I put what they tell me into practice," Hedelin told JCFootball.com over the summer. "That's what schools like about me -- I'm a fast learner."

Hedelin expects to sign with a school in February and then enroll after he finishes up his coursework in May. He will have three years to play two starting next season.
