Things Are Heating Up For Crosby

Since the end of the season, Snow CB Lee Crosby (6-0, 186) has seen his stock skyrocket with several four-year schools. New offers have rolled in in recent weeks and he updated us on which new schools have gotten involved as well as which programs he is working on setting up visits with in the coming weeks...

"Things have been crazy," Crosby told "Wyoming's new staff told me that my offer is still on the table and the new head coach (Craig Bohl) is coming to visit me.

"I also got a new offer from New Mexico and Southern Miss is working on setting up a visit with me and I am visiting Idaho next weekend (January 24th)."

Crosby said another school that has picked up things of late is Fresno State although no offer has been forthcoming because, as he noted, "they want to see how my grades are" before they get too serious.

The new offers join full rides from the likes of Bethune-Cookman, Idaho, Lamar, North Carolina Central, Northern Colorado, Southern Utah, Texas Southern, Troy, which he will visit on January 31st, and Weber State.

As a freshman in 2012, Crosby had 12 tackles and an interception while playing sparingly and this past season he finished with 30 tackles, two tackles-for-loss, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery in 10 games.

He is set to graduate in May and he will have three years to play two starting this fall.
