Blinn OL Sets Up Visit to Sun Belt School

Blinn OL Donovan Williams (6-3, 315) has patiently waited to find a place to play this fall and it appears he could be rewarded as he recently received an offer from a Sun Belt school and will visit there in less than three weeks...

"Louisiana-Lafayette just offered me and I'm going to visit there on March 14th," Williams told JCFootball.com. "Right now, I don't really have anyone else looking at me other than them, so I'm really excited about the offer and I am looking forward to my visit there in a couple of weeks."

Williams started at guard for Blinn the past season and he said, while he feels he could play tackle or guard, he loves to play inside.

"I like to be aggressive and get after guys," Williams noted. "I'm probably a better run-blocker, but I can pass-block pretty well too.

"One things I've really worked on a lot was getting in better shape and watching my weight. I just need to stay focused on it."

Williams was a full-qualifier out of high school, but will finish up his AA degree in May. He will have three years to play two starting this fall.
