Things Start To Come Into Focus For Hall

He was one of the stars of the 2012 Riverside squad that went 9-2 and, following that season, CB Tray Hall (5-11, 170) signed with Fresno State. However, one of his classes didn't pass admissions, so he spent this past fall working out and getting his academics straight and he recently told JCFootball.com that he could be getting close to receiving an offer from a Sun Belt school...

"Right now, Troy is the school recruiting me the hardest and they said they are coming out to see me on April 15th," Hall told JCFootball.com recently. "They haven't offered yet, but they are pretty interested and hopefully they offer after we meet.

"Other than them, I have been talking a lot with California, Indiana and Utah State, so I have some schools interested, but right now, I am still waiting for an offer."

"When I signed with Fresno State, I thought I was all set, but then when I tried to get in there and enroll, they said there was a holdup with one of the on-line classes I took and they couldn't accept it," Hall said. "After that, things sorta fell off for me and I couldn't find a place that was ready to take me, so I worked out with my team before fall camp and then I worked out on my own this fall and also got my degree in December."

As a sophomore back in 2012, Hall led the Tigers with five interceptions and 13 pass breakups while also totaling 41 tackles and 2.5 tackles-for-loss.

"I'm good in coverage, but I like to come up and hit guys and I feel like I play the run pretty well too," Hall told JCFootball.com back in 2012.

Hall will have two years to play two starting this fall.

JCFootball.com will continue to keep in touch with him over the next few weeks as he gets closer to making his decision.
