"First offer from Georgia State," Williams told JCFootball.com via text.
In addition to his first offer, Williams is hearing from the likes of Arizona State, Arkansas, Fresno State, Illinois, Iowa State, LSU and Tennessee.
"I can do whatever my team needs me to do," Williams told JCFootball.com earlier this month. "I'm a one-cut, downhill runner though. It's what I do best I think.
"My vision and my patience through the hole are what really set me apart from the other backs out there. I set things up and I can see the hole as it's forming."
Williams was the main cog on an offense that helped lead the Roadrunners to a 12-0 record and the National Championship.
"We had a lot of fun last season. We came together as a team and we played well," Williams said. "Now we're right back to work and trying to repeat. That's our goal."
As a native of Arkansas, Williams enjoyed a solid prep career at North Little Rock High School and he had some offers from D-2 schools and opted to sign with one, but after a semester, he decided to transfer and Butte was an easy choice for him.
"My (prep) coach knew one of the coaches out here and they set me up," Williams said. "I'm so happy here and I love the staff and the program they have here. It was the right move for me."
Williams is on pace to finish up his two-year degree this December and he will have two years to play two following the 2014 football season.
