Danley Talks Offers And Visit Plans

East Mississippi OT Jamal Danley (6-5, 310), one of the top JUCO offensive linemen in the current class, has offers from 13 schools and recently set up his first official visit and told JCFootball.com he knows three other schools he plans to visit as well...

"I just got an offer from Florida," Danley told JCFootball.com. "My coaches told me they spoke to the coaches from Florida and they liked me when they saw me this spring and they were offering me."

In addition to his offer from the Gators, Danley also has full rides from the likes of Cincinnati, Kansas, LSU, Massachusetts, Memphis, Middle Tennessee State, Mississippi, Mississippi State, Missouri, Oklahoma, South Florida and Temple.

"I set up an official visit with Oklahoma, when they play Tennessee on September 13th, and I also am planning to visit Missouri, Mississippi State and Florida," Danley said. "I'm not quite sure yet which school I will visit with my last official and I haven't firmed up the dates with the other three, but that's what I'm planning on doing."

As a freshman in 2013, Danley handled the right guard spot for EMCC, helping to lead the Lions to a 12-0 record and an NJCAA National Championship. He said the offseason has been productive for them and they are looking forward to another big season.

"We're putting in the work and doing things as a team, building that teamwork we'll need because we know everyone is going to be coming after us," Danley noted. "I can't wait to get on the field. We've been going at it hard this offseason as we've been running and working out and doing all of the stuff you have to do to get ready, but now I'm ready to start hitting someone. I can't wait."

Danley is on pace to finish up his two-year degree in December and he will have two years to play two following the 2014 football season.
