"Got an offer from Akron," Henderson said in a message.
The offer from the Zips joins the two the talented tight end already had from UAB and New Mexico.
In addition to the three schools that have offered, Henderson has also been hearing quite a bit from programs like Oregon State, USC, Cincinnati, San Jose State, San Diego State and Idaho.
As a freshman last fall, Henderson totaled nine receptions for 157 yards and two scores and he hopes to have an even better sophomore season.
"I think I've improved at everything," Henderson told JCFootball.com late last month. "My coaches like to split me out a lot and that's sort of the way that offenses are going nowadays, but I really like being on the end of the line and blocking. I have fun with it. I love to block down on defensive ends. I think it sort of surprises them because tight ends aren't on the end of the line as much as they used to be."
As far as his academics are concerned, Henderson is a good student and he's on pace to finish up his two year degree in December. He will have three years to play two following the 2014 football season.
