Here's a look at some of the top JUCO quarterback performances from this past weekend including Rochester's Nick Rooney who lit up the scoreboard this past weekend in a big win for the Yellow Jackets...

Rochester QB Nick Rooney - The freshman went 36 of 52 for 569 yards and seven touchdowns in the Yellow Jackets' 63-13 win over Minnesota West. So far this season, Rooney has completed 61.7% of his passes for 2,144 yards with 28 touchdowns and seven interceptions.

Coffeyville QB Brock Gilmore - In the Red Ravens' 42-35 win over Hutchinson, Gilmore went 43 of 77 for 514 yards and five touchdowns.

Blinn QB Jake Hubenak - Hubenak continues to light up opposing defenses. This past weekend, in the Bucs' 55-30 win over Cisco, the talented sophomore completed 27 of his 40 pass attempts for 484 yards with six touchdowns and two picks. He also rushed for 28 yards on four carries. So far this season, the Oklahoma State bounceback has completed 67.5% of his passes (135 of 200) for 2,410 yards with 32 touchdowns and six interceptions while leading Blinn to 4-1 record.

East Mississippi QB Chad Kelly - The former Clemson signal-caller went 39 of 47 for 416 yards and five scores in the Lions' 55-0 win over Jones County last weekend. In six games this season, Kelly has completed nearly 70% of his passes for 2,051 yards with 24 touchdowns and four interceptions.

Scottsdale QB Michael Sanders - In the Chokes' 56-20 win over Pima last weekend, Sanders completed 21 of his 28 attempts for 430 yards and seven touchdowns. This season, the talented sophomore gun-slinger has completed 59.2% of his passes (126 of 213) for 1,747 yards, 21 touchdowns and one interceptions while leading Scottsdale to a 5-1 record.

Navarro QB Carson Earp - Earp went 23 of 33 for 337 yards with four touchdowns and an interception while rushing for 75 yards and another score in the Bulldogs' 66-20 win over Arkansas Baptist.

Pima QB Kian Homme - The freshman went 31 of 53 for 337 yards with two touchdowns in Pima's 56-20 loss to Scottsdale.

Iowa Western QB Tay Bender - In the Reivers' 45-3 win over Garden City, Bender went 21 of 33 for 293 yards and five touchdowns while rushing for 31 more yards. The former Kansas State signal-caller has gone 107 of 173 (61.8%) for 1,275 yards with 19 touchdowns and four interceptions. He's also rushed for 153 yards and three more scores while leading Iowa Western to a 6-0 record.

Snow QB Alex Kuresa - Kuresa threw for 223 yards and a score while completing 16 of his 22 attempts while carrying the ball 11 times for 86 yards and a touchdown in Snow's 51-3 win over New Mexico Military.

Butler QB DaMarcus Smith - While leading Butler to a 41-24 win over Iowa Central, Smith went 22 of 28 for 314 yards and four touchdowns.

Arizona Western Trent Hosick - The sophomore, who signed with Missouri out of high school, led the Matadors to thrilling 50-47 win over Glendale while going 18 of 22 for 249 yards and carrying the ball 23 times for 35 yards and four scores.

Hinds QB James Summers - Summers only completed eight of his 18 attempts for 101 yards, but he managed to rush for 152 yards on 23 carries as Hinds outlasted East Central by a score of 24-16.

San Joaquin Delta QB Arnold Kimble -Kimble, a freshman, had a huge day, going 30 of 52 for 427 yards and three touchdowns, but it wasn't enough as the Mustangs dropped to 0-5 with a heart-breaking 35-34 loss to Butte.

Citrus QB Larry Cutbirth - The sophomore went 20 of 30 for 197 yards and four scores in Citrus' 40-13 win over L.A. Harbor.

Grossmont QB Michael Carrillo - Carrillo completed 20 of his 34 attempts for 307 yards with two touchdowns and two interceptions, but the Griffs still dropped their game with Palomar by a score of 41-24.

Santa Rosa QB Christian McAlvain - McAlvain went 16 of 29 for 247 yards and three touchdowns in the Bear Cubs' impressive 28-3 win over College of the Sequoias to get to 5-0 on the season.

Shasta QB Dylan Desmarais - Shasta got to 4-1 on the season with a 50-25 win over Feather River and Desmarais was a big reason why as he went 21 of 38 for 347 yards and four touchdowns. The sophomore is a big reason why Shasta has been able to score nearly 56 points per game as he's completed 55.9% of his passes for 1,635 yards with 15 touchdowns and just three interceptions.

Bakersfield QB Tarek Yaeggie - The sophomore signal-caller went 22 of 34 for 351 yards with three touchdowns and an interception, but the Gades still fell short in their game with College of the Canyons, losing 38-35.

Saddleback QB Ricky Bautista - Bautista led the Gauchos to a 27-15 win over Santa Ana by going 26 of 36 for 330 yards and three touchdowns. The sophomore has gone 121 of 192 (63%) for 1,591 yards with 14 touchdowns and four interceptions in Saddleback's first five games.

Mt. San Antonio QB Justin Alo - Alo went 16 of 38 for 334 yards with two touchdowns and no interceptions while rushing for 30 yards and two more scores in the Mounties' 41-38 loss to Long Beach.

Pasadena QB Dejon Williams - The freshman signal-caller finished the day 27 of 40 for 354 yards with a touchdown and four picks in Pasadena's 27-17 loss to Cerritos.

San Jose QB Ray Rivera - Rivera went 28 of 57 for 374 yards with a touchdown and two interceptions, but it wasn't enough as the Jaguars lost to Yuba by a score of 28-12.

Sacramento QB Jason Samuels - The freshman had a huge day in Sac City's 52-49 win over Chabot, completing 37 of his 58 pass attempts for 438 yards with six touchdowns. He also rushed for a touchdown as well.

Golden West QB Chris d'Entremont - The sophomore signal-caller went 22 of 45 for 458 yards with five touchdowns and two interceptions in the Rustlers' 66-43 loss to Fullerton.

Victor Valley QB Paul Mroz - Mroz, another sophomore, got the Rams to 5-0 by throwing for 429 yards and four touchdowns with two interceptions while completing 21 of his 33 pass attempts in a 47-14 win over East Los Angeles.
