Here's a look at some of the top JUCO quarterback performances from this past weekend...

Blinn QB Jake Hubenak - Hubenak continues to put up huge numbers. This past weekend, in the Buccaneers’ 49-40 loss to Kilgore, the sophomore signal-caller went 32 of 52 for 644 yards with six touchdowns and two interceptions. In seven games this season, the Oklahoma State bounceback has gone 195 of 297 (65.7%) for 3,534 yards with 42 touchdowns and nine picks.

Navarro QB Carson Earp - In the Bulldogs’ 58-45 win over Tyler, Earp went 24 of 36 for 383 yards with five touchdowns and an interception. He also rushed for 74 on 16 carries as well. This season, the sophomore has completed 60.7% of his passes (119 of 196) for 1,540 yards with 15 touchdowns and five interceptions while leading Navarro to a 6-2 record.

Jones QB Kenny Coleman - Coleman went 31 of 47 for 429 yards with two touchdowns and two interceptions in Jones’ 52-45 win over Hinds. While splitting reps under center so far this season, Coleman has gone 121 of 196 for 1,468 yards with seven touchdowns and nine picks.

Scottsdale QB Michael Sanders - The sophomore gun-slinger was nearly perfect, going 22 of 29 for 388 yards and three touchdowns in the Artichokes’ 58-29 win over Mesa last weekend. Sanders has completed 61.2% of his passes so far this season for 2,135 yards with 25 touchdowns and just one interception while leading Scottsdale to a 7-1 record.

Itawamba QB Kwadre Griggs - Griggs, a freshman, went 22 of 32 while throwing for 366 yards with four touchdowns and two interceptions while leading Itawamba to a 52-48 win over Mississippi Delta last weekend.

East Mississippi QB Chad Kelly - Kelly accounted for 296 total yards completing 24 of his 45 pass attempts for 236 yards and three touchdowns while rushing for 60 yards and a touchdown on seven carries in a 49-0 win over Northwest Mississippi.

Southwest Mississippi QB Deangelo Ballard - Ballard rushed for 112 yard and a touchdown while completing 8 of his 14 receptions for 133 yards and two more scores as Southwest Mississippi ‘s 38-14 win over East Central.

Trinity Valley QB Kyle Postma - The sophomore went 16 of 22 for 331 yards with four touchdowns and an interception as TVC blew out Arkansas Baptist by a score of 59-14.

Modesto QB Spencer Thomas - Thomas completed 19 of his 25 attempts for 278 yards and five touchdowns while leading Modesto to a 57-23 win over College of the Sequoias.

Cabrillo QB Brenden Davis - In Cabrillo’s impressive 61-35 win over Gavilan, the sophomore completed 20 of his 36 attempts for 370 yards and three touchdowns. He also rushed for 26 yards and another touchdown.

Bakersfield QB Tarek Yaeggie - Yaeggie completed 20 of his 33 pass attempts for 350 yards and five touchdowns as the Gades downed Moorpark 50-47 last weekend.

Chaffey QB Levi Plante - In Chaffey’s 40-36 win over Long Beach, Plante went 19 of 34 for 351 yards with two touchdowns. He also rushed for 43 yards on eight carries.

Butte QB Zach Kline - The Cal bounceback was an efficient 16 of 19 for 281 yards and two touchdowns in Butte’s 65-9 win over Feather River.

West Los Angeles QB Dallas Lopez - Lopez did everything he could to help his team get a win, going 30 of 48 for 427 yards and four touchdowns while also rushing for 27 yards and another score, but it just wasn’t enough as West Los Angeles dropped to 2-4 with a 49-48 loss to Santa Monica.

Victor Valley QB Paul Mroz - Mroz led Victor Valley to a 40-10 win over San Bernardino by hitting on 20 of his 34 attempts for 310 yards and three touchdowns. While leading the Rams to a 6-0 record, the sophomore has gone 94 of 161 (58.4%) for 1,534 yards, 17 touchdowns and five interceptions. He’s also carried the ball 42 times for 111 yards on the ground as well.

Hartnell QB Michael Turner - The sophomore completed 22 of his 35 pass attempts for 324 yards with three touchdowns and two interceptions in Hartnell’s 37-29 win over Los Medanos. He also had 28 yards rushing in the win as well.

Diablo Valley QB Adam Wood - In DVC’s 45-21 win over DeAnza, the sophomore went 22 of 36 for 339 yards with six touchdowns and two interceptions. Wood has followed up a solid freshman season in 2013 with an even more efficient sophomore season where he’s completed nearly 62% of his passes (133 of 215) for 1,746 yards with 19 touchdowns and eight interceptions while leading the Vikings to a 5-1 record.

American River QB Tanner Trosin - Trosin went 24 of 33 for 278 yards with five touchdowns while leading the Beavers to a 33-31 win over College of the Siskiyous.

Grossmont QB Michael Carrillo - The freshman completed 21 of his 35 pass attempts for 382 yards with three touchdowns.

West Hills QB Freddy Taliulu - In West Hills’ 48-43 win over Reedley, the sophomore signal-caller went 28 of 45 for 513 yards and five touchdowns while also rushing for a touchdown as well.

Monterey Peninsula QB Keon Marsh - Marsh went 29 of 48 for 365 yards with two touchdowns and one interception in Monterey Peninsula’s 27-20 loss to Merced last weekend.
