Potter Finally Receives First Offer

Long Beach QB Kenny Potter (6-2, 207) received his first offer recently...

Long Beach head coach Brett Peabody informed JCFootball.com that Potter recently received an offer from UNLV.

The offer is Potter's first.

Potter broke his non-throwing arm and hasn't played much over the past few weeks, but the hope is he will return soon.

The talented sophomore is one of the top dual-threats in the country.

This season, before he was injured, Potter completed 57.7% of his passes for 1,115 yards with 10 touchdowns and six interceptions. He's also rushed for 352 yards and five touchdowns.

As a freshman in 2013, Potter went 191 of 296 (64.5%) for 2,808 yards with 25 touchdowns and nine interceptions while rushing for 592 yard and a team-high 14 scores.

Potter was a full-qualifier out of high school and the plan is for him to sign with a school in December and he will have three years to play two following the 2014 football season.
