Iowa Western DB Commits To Big Ten School

Iowa Western DB Charlie "Ace" Rogers (6-1, 210) chooses to play for Minnesota starting in 2015...

JCFootball.com has been able to confirm that Rogers committed to Minnesota earlier this morning.

The talented defensive back chose the Golden Gophers over offers from the likes of Georgia State, Idaho, Illinois, Miami (OH), North Texas, Old Dominion, Utah State and Wyoming.

Rogers finished his redshirt sophomore season with 62 tackles, two tackles-for-loss, four pass breakups and two interceptions from his free safety spot.

Rogers will finish up his two-year degree this month and he will have two years to play two following the 2014 football season.
