Second Offer Rolls In For Potter

Long Beach QB Kenny Potter (6-2, 210) is now up to two offers with his latest coming from a Mountain West school...

Vikings head coach Brett Peabody informed JCFootball.com that Potter recently received an offer from San Jose State.

The offer from the Spartans is Potters' second, joining the one he received about three weeks ago from UNLV.

In addition to the two programs that have offered, Potter has also seen interest pick up from schools like Indiana, Syracuse, San Diego State, BYU and New Mexico State.

Potter missed a handful of games with a broken left (non-throwing) arm, but still managed to lead the Vikings in passing, completing 122 of his 195 attempts for 1,726 yards with 15 touchdowns and six picks.

The athletic thrower is also a very good runner and finished the season with 435 yards and seven touchdowns on the ground.

Potter will finish up his two-year degree this month and he will have three years to play two starting in 2015.
