"I'm visiting Louisiana-Lafayette next week and Texas Tech is now interested as well," DellaRipa told JCFootball.com. "Fresno State has also started to talk to me so things are looking good as of right now."
In addition to the FBS programs that have begun to show their interest, DellaRipa also has offers from five FCS programs -- Coastal Carolina, Stony Brook, Morgan State, Southeastern Louisiana and Murray State -- but he's opted to hold out for offers from schools at the highest level.
As a freshman this past season, DellaRipa played both inside and outside for the Cougars and said schools have said they prefer him inside.
"I played tackle on both sides and worked guard a little," DellaRipa noted. "Where schools are looking at me has been mixed but I would say more inside right now."
As a prep at West Ranch High School in Valencia, California, DellaRipa had several D-2 and D-3 offers, but he decided to head to COC to get himself noticed by FBS programs.
He was a full-qualifier, so he's able to leave right away and, should he decide to leave this summer, he would have four years to play three starting this fall.
