As a redshirt freshman last season, Rinkemeyer totaled 15 receptions for 173 yards and three scores while playing mostly out of the slot, but his spring he'll be playing a more traditional role.
"I did a lot of work in the slot this last season and some end of the line stuff, but for the spring I will for sure have my hand down more," Rinkemeyer told JCFootball.com recently.
During the season, Rinkemeyer, who was a full-qualifier after graduating from Blue Valley High School in Stilwell, Kansas, was offered by Bowling Green.
"I took a visit out there it was a nice town and they had great facilities and they also have a solid program, but since I got redshirted and still have another year at Butler and I figured I would give it another shot and see what other offers I can get," Rinkemeyer noted.
Rinkemeyer can sign with a school this spring, but, currently his plan is to return to Butler for the 2015 season and he will have two years to play two starting in the fall of 2016.
