"I have offers from Kansas State and Fresno State if I can get out this spring, but if not, they said that the offers are good for December," Belony told JCFootball.com. "Besides those two schools, the other ones that are showing me interest are Washington, Illinois, Colorado State, Southern Mississippi, Kent State, Buffalo and Howard."
While playing mostly at the three-tech, pass-rushing defensive tackle spot for the Marauders, Belony finished with 30 tackles, 2.5 sacks, eight tackles-for-loss, one forced fumble and two fumble recoveries.
"I'm probably known more for being a run-stopper, but I feel like my pass-rush is underrated," Belony noted. "I have good feet for a guy my size and good hands and I can use power moves pretty well too."
Belony is hard at work getting his academic work taken care of and if he is able to finish things up in time to enroll with a school he will have four years to play three, but if that doesn't work out, he's planning to return to AVC this fall and then will sign in December with three years to play two.
JCFootball.com will continue to keep tabs on Belony over the next couple of months as he works toward his goal and we will more news as it happens with him.
