Today's JCFootball.com Recruiting Blog has updates on several JUCO recruits who have either set up visits to see different schools, recently received offers or are getting looks from four-year coaches...

Iowa Western OT James Works (2015) - Works committed to Akron while on his official visit. The sophomore chose the Zips over offers from East Carolina, Georgia State, Idaho, Marshall, North Texas, UAB and Utah State. Works played at Mount San Jacinto as a freshman in 2013 before transferring to Iowa Western this past summer. He will have three years to play two starting this fall.


Hutchinson OL Tate Leavitt (2016) - Leavitt continues to acquire offers, adding his 14th recently when Kentucky joined the fray. Leavitte, who handles the left tackle spot for the Blue Dragons, also has offers from Alabama, Arizona State, Buffalo, Eastern Michigan, Illinois, Kansas State, Louisville, Missouri, NC State, Ohio, TCU, Texas Tech and West Virginia.


Snow DL Manaia Perese (2016) - Perese recently hauled in his first offer when Kansas became the first school to throw their hat in the ring. At 6’3”, 277 pounds, Perese is a player who can play almost anywhere along the defensive line.


Nassau RB Marcus Levy (2016) - Levy recently grabbed offers from Southern Mississippi and Idaho. As a freshman last season, the Bowling Green bounceback, totaled 397 yards and six touchdowns for the Lions.


Lackawanna OT Ashton Julious (2016) - Julious received an offer from UCF this weekend. The offer is Julious’ fourth, joining the three he already had from Akron, South Carolina State and Southern Mississippi.


Sacramento City FB/H-Back Leonardo Skatteboo (2016) - Skatteboo received an offer from Idaho this weekend. As a freshman last season, Skatteboo rushed for 243 yards and five touchdowns while grabbing 18 receptions for 170 yards and one touchdown.


Ellsworth LB Angelo Sumler (2015) - Sumler has received an offer from Henderson State. As a redshirt freshman this past season, Sumler totaled 56 tackles, six tackles-for-loss, two forced fumbles and two interceptions from his inside linebacker spot. He can leave now and he would have three years to play three starting this fall if he finds a home.


L.A. Valley CB Eric Jenkins (2016) - Jenkins added his fifth offer this weekend as Cincinnati let him know they want to bring him into the fold in the 2016 recruiting class. The Bearcats joined Central Michigan, Illinois, UTEP and Washington State in offering the talented corner prospect. He’s also hearing a lot from USC, Indiana, Southern Mississippi and Toledo.


Fort Scott DE Koron Crump (2016) - Krump added an offer from New Mexico this past week. He currently holds offers from Akron, Arizona State, Baylor, Cincinnati, Kentucky, Tennessee and Wyoming after he totaled 46 tackles, 10 sacks and 15.5 tackles-for-loss as a freshman last season.
