Marsh recently received an offer from Boise State, adding to his offer from Southern Mississippi and he told JCFootball.com that he has received interest from several other programs.
"Utah State, Eastern Kentucky, Murray State, Southern Illinois, Middle Tennessee State, Arkansas State and Houston have all been talking to me," Marsh said. "I have a visit (unofficial) to Middle Tennessee set for the 28th (of May)."
As far as why he decided to open things up, Marsh said that it had more to do with committing too early in the process before he could see all of the other programs that are interested in him.
"I just want to see everything that's out there," Marsh said. "That Southern Miss coach staff is amazing, so I am still very interested in them."
Marsh said he plans to wait until he takes his official visits before he makes his final decision.
As a freshman for the Red Ravens last fall, Marsh, while playing nose guard, totaled 35 tackles, 2.5 sacks and six tackles-for-loss.
He is set to graduate in December and he will have three years to play two following the 2015 football season.
