"I have offers from Arkansas State and Buffalo right now," James-Wilson told JCFootball.com. "I am also hearing from Houston, Missouri, Utah State, Louisiana-Monroe, Baylor, Colorado State and Kansas.

"Only the first two have offered, but the other schools seem to really like me and are recruiting me pretty hard."

The talented corner started every game for the Greyhounds last season and finished the season with 40 tackles, two interceptions and four pass breakups.

"Yeah, I feel I'm a great cover guy," James-Wilson noted. "I'm faster (4.43) than a lot of guys and I'm pretty athletic.

"This offseason I am working on my footwork, especially my 'T' steps and read steps and also my ball awareness skills."

James-Wilson enjoyed a very good prep career at Raytown (Mo.) South High School, but he was unable to qualify for a scholarship, so he decided to go the JC-route and wound up at Fort Scott.

"I liked the coaches and plus they were the only school that offered me a scholarship," James-Wilson admitted.

The talented corner is on pace to finish up his two-year degree this fall and he will have three years to play two following the 2015 football season.
