  • 290 has been able to confirm that Gaynor received an offer from Kansas State this weekend.

The Wildcats are the third program to offer the big and versatile offensive lineman, joining Akron and Houston.

Gaynor started at left tackle for the Conqs as a freshman last season and he feels he can do whatever is necessary to be successful.

"I can run-block or pass-block pretty equally," Gaynor noted. "You have to be able to do both to be successful against the teams we play."

Gaynor enjoyed a solid prep career at Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida, but he was unable to qualify, so he headed to the one school that took notice of him.

"Dodge City is the only school that offered me a scholarship to play football," Gaynor said. "I had to get my academics right and it seemed like a good place for me to go and do that."

Gaynor is on pace to finish up his two-year degree in December and he will have three years to play two following the 2015 football season.
