"I am visiting Arkansas State on July 17th," Grant told JCFootball.com. "I wont commit on the trip. I will always will come home and talk it over with family before I make my decision.

"I will only take this one visit this summer, that's all I am planning right now and I am hoping to take some more visits in the fall, but I haven't scheduled those yet."

The Red Wolves are one of four programs to offer the talented wideout.

"I have offers from Arkansas State, Idaho, Ohio and Southern Mississippi," Grant noted. "I also have been getting a lot of mail from Utah and Akron has been talking to me too."

As a freshman this past season, Grant finished third on the Scotties with 28 receptions for 472 yards and he led the team with six touchdowns.

With his outstanding size and his ability to shield defenders from the ball, the Highland coaches made Grant their top red-zone target.

"When we got into the red-zone, my coaches tried to get me the ball most of the time," Grant said. "I'm a down-the-field guy and a possession guy. I have speed, but more than anything, I'd say I'm explosive."

After a good prep career at Hernando High School in Brooksville, Florida, Grant, who was unable to qualify academically for a scholarship, started to look around for a place to call home.

"My coach had a connection with someone up here at Highland and it just felt like the right place to be," Grant said. "It's been a good place for me to play."

Grant is on pace to finish up his two-year degree this December and he will have three years to play two following the 2015 football season.
