Avery Adds Third Offer To His Total

JCFootball.com has been able to confirm that Avery recently received an offer from Colorado State.

The offer is the third for talented and versatile safety, joining the two he already had from the likes of California and Southern Mississippi.

Avery has also been hearing from Arizona, Texas Tech and UAB.

Avery got off to a solid start to the season last week when he posted nine tackles and two interceptions in Coffeyville's thrilling 48-42 win over Iowa Western.

"I'm a smart player," Avery told JCFootball.com recently. "I have good feet and I can basically run the route that the receiver is trying to run and when the ball is in the air, I can go and get it."

Avery has yet to set up any official visits, but said he hopes to in the coming weeks.

The sophomore will finish up his two-year degree in December and he will have three yeras to play two following the 2015 football season.
