Weekly JUCO Top Performers - Running Backs

Here's a look at some of the top JUCO running back performances from last week including Pima's Deontay Townsend (pictured) who helped lead Pima to a 36-33 win over Eastern Arizona...

WSFL (Arizona/New Mexico/Utah)
Deontay Townsend (Pima) (5-10, 205) - Townsend helped lead Pima to a 36-33 win over Eastern Arizona by rushing for 189 yards and two touchdowns on 36 carries.
Daryl Wiggins (New Mexico Military) (5-10, 195) - Wiggins helped lead the Broncos to a 55-27 win over Phoenix by rushing for 153 yards and three touchdowns.
Kenneth Steele (Mesa) (6-0, 190) - The sophomore carried the ball 24 times, totaling 113 yards and a score, but Mesa dropped their game with Glendale by a score of $24-21.
Tiberias Lampkin (Northeast Mississippi) (5-8, 210) - Lampkin had 100 yards and a touchdown on 17 carries in the Tigers 44-13 loss to Hinds.
D.J. Sims (Hinds) (5-9, 190)* - The freshman carried the ball just seven times, but he still managed to post 95 yards and a touchdown on the ground.
Justin Crawford (Northwest Mississippi) (6-0, 200) - Crawford didn’t find the endzone, but he did finish with a tough 131 yards on 28 carries in the Rangers’ 26-10 win over Mississippi Gulf Coast.
Lakedric Lee (Copiah-Lincoln) (5-11, 210) - Lee showed his versatility, running for 113 yards on 26 carries while also hauling in 12 receptions for 113 more yards in Co-Lin’s 31-24 OT win over top-ranked East Mississippi.
Darius Webb (Globe) (5-10, 205)* - Webb had an amazing first collegiate game, racking up 364 yards and six touchdowns on the ground in Globe's impressive 48-41 win over Lackawanna.
Mark Thompson (Dodge City) (6-3, 220) - The Florida commit had 201 yards rushing and a touchdown in Dodge City's 40-35 win over Garden City.
Xavier Washpun (Ellsworth) (5-10, 192) - Even though the Panthers fell to Coffeyville by a score of 49-48, Washpun still had a great game, running for 192 yards and two scores on 31 carries.
Christon Dyrrah (Iowa Central) (5-9, 180)*- The Tritons got a big 37-34 win over Independence last weekend and the freshman tailback was a big reason why as he rushed for 228 yards and two scores.
Southern California
Jordan Frost (L.A. Valley) (5-7, 170) - Frost totaled 133 yard and a touchdown on 17 carries, but the Monarchs still dropped their game with San Diego Mesa by a score of 33-27.
Edward Martin (Antelope Valley) (5-7, 175) - The sophomore runner had 11 carries for 107 yards and two touchdowns in AVC’s 34-0 win over Mt. San Jacinto.
Joshua Vizcaya (Golden West) (5-7, 190) - The Washington State bounceback totaled 182 yards and two touchdowns on the ground in the Rustlers' 48-22 win over L.A. Harbor.
Quincey Ross (Chaffey) (5-7, 170) - Ross finished with 105 yards and two touchdowns on 17 carries in Chaffey’s 41-16 win over Orange Coast.
Tyree Harris (Long Beach) (5-11, 200)*- The freshman totaled 100 yards and two scores on 16 carries in Long Beach’s 43-16 win over Moorpark.
Northern California
Ra'Quanne Dickens (College of the Redwoods) (6-0, 205) - Dickens totaled 156 yards and a touchdown on just 13 carries, but Redwoods still dropped their game with Monterey Peninsula 49-2.
Jordan Torres (Monterey Peninsula) (5-10, 182)*- The freshman had 87 yards and a touchdown on the ground while also grabbing five receptions for 110 yards and another score as the Lobos downed Redwoods by a score of 49-28.
Isaiah Williams (College of San Mateo) (5-7, 190)*- Williams touched the ball just 12 times, but he still accounted for 126 yards and two touchdowns in CSM’s 35-6 win over College of the Siskiyous.
Justin Stefani (Merced) (5-10, 225)*- The freshman had just five touches, but he made the most of them, running for 101 yards and two scores in Merced’s big 44-14 win over Los Medanos.
Ja'Narrick James (Santa Rosa) (5-7, 170)*- James had 109 yards on 13 carries in the Bear Cubs’ 27-17 loss to San Joaquin Valley.
Ondre Rudolph (Chabot) (5-9, 220)*- Rudolph totaled 106 yards and a touchdown on 13 carries as Chabot got a big 30-9 win over Butte.
