Mississippi

CB Brandon Tillman (Northeast Mississippi) (5-7, 170)* - Tillman tied for the team-lead with six tackles and also had a pass breakup in Northeast Mississippi’s 44-13 loss to Hinds.
CB Charvarius Ward (Hinds) (6-1, 185) - The sophomore had three tackles and an interception in Hinds’ big 44-13 win over Northeast Mississippi.
CB Levarious Varnado (Itawamba) (5-9, 175) - Vernado was a key contributor to the Indians’ 21-20 win over Jones County, posting seven tackles, one interception and two pass breakups.
S Jaquarius Landrews (Copiah-Lincoln) (6-0, 185) - Landrews had two tackles and the interception to end the game as the Wolfpack beat top-ranked East Mississippi 31-24 in overtime.

Kansas

CB Octavious Morgan (Butler) (6-0, 195) - Morgan had six tackles, three interceptions and one pass breakup in the Grizzlies' impressive 40-7 win over Iowa Western last weekend.
 
SWJCFC (Texas/Oklahoma)

S Chris Bishop (Northeastern Oklahoma A&M) (6-3, 190)* - Bishop was outstanding for the Golden Norsemen in their 53-23 win over Texas Institute of A&T, racking up five tackles, a pass breakup and an interception he returned 100 yards for a touchdown.

Southern California

CB Kory Garcia (Golden West) (6-0, 185)*- Garcia had two tackles and two interceptions in his first collegiate game and helped the Rustler’s get a 48-22 win over L.A. Harbor.
CB Derrick Worthy (Orange Coast) (5-11, 170) - Worthy led the Pirates with 10 tackles one fumble recovery and an interception that he took back 87 yards for a touchdown.
S Dominic Frasch (Bakersfield) (5-10, 180) - Frasch led the way with 15 tackles, two tackles-for-loss and an interception, but Bakersfield still fell to 0-1 on the season with a 33-14 loss to Riverside.
CB Marcus Meredith (Saddleback) (6-0, 195) - The sophomore had six tackles and three pass breakups in Saddleback’s 26-20 loss to Cerritos.
S Isaiah Foster (College of the Canyons) (6-2, 175) - From his free safety spot, Foster had four tackles and two interceptions as he helped lead the Cougars to a 30-6 win over Mt. San Antonio in the first week of the season.

Northern California

S Rishad Goode (Cabrillo) (6-0, 195) - Cabrillo dropped to 0-1 with a 37-12 loss to Contra Costa, but Goode still managed to have a great game, totaling 10 tackles, one tackle-for-loss, an interception.
S Jessie Sterling (Merced) (5-11, 195) - Sterling managed to lead the Blue Devils with 10 tackles and one interception in their 44-14 win over Los Medanos.
