"I just received an offer from Alabama State," Marquis Wimberly told JCFootball.com. "I am still committed to UNLV right now, but I am going to take some visits before I sign."
In addition to his offers from UNLV and Alabama State, Wimberly also has offers from Georgia State, Idaho, North Texas, Northern Arizona, South Alabama and Weber State.
"I have been talking a lot with Arizona State and per their wideouts coach (DelVaughn Alexanders) they may be offering soon," Wimberly said. "If they offer, I'll take a trip there. I am also planning to visit UNLV in November, but I haven't set that date yet, and I am looking at trips to North Texas and Northern Arizona too, but like the other visits, I haven't set those in stone yet."
As a freshman last season, Wimberly led Chaffey with 49 receptions for 659 yards and he finished tied for second on the team with three touchdown receptions and so far this season, the talented wideout leads his team in receptions (nine), yards (126) and receiving touchdowns (four).
Wimberly will finish up his two-year degree in December and he will have three years to play two following the 2015 football season.
