Here's a look at some of the top JUCO linebacker performances from last week including Grossmont's Nick Galatis (pictured) who had a big game in the Griff's win over Pasadena...

Nick Galatis (Grossmont) (6-0, 225) - Galatis helped lead the Griffs to a 51-0 shutout of Pasadena by posting a game-high 11 tackles, three sacks, four tackles-for-loss, one forced fumble and one pass breakup.
Suliasi Tamaivena (Mt. San Antonio) (6-1, 225) - Tamaivena had nine tackles, 2.5 tackles-for-loss, a pass breakups and a quarterback hurry in the Mounties' 36-30 loss to Fullerton.
Sitiveni Tamaivena (Mt. San Antonio) (6-1, 230) - Tamiavena, the brother of Suliasi, had nine tackles and one tackle-for-loss in the Mounties' 36-30 loss to Fullerton.
A.J. Hotchkins (Riverside) (5-11, 230) - Hotchkins had a big game in Riverside's convincing 38-18 victory over Saddleback as he racked up 12 tackles and a tackle-for-loss in the win.
Colby Koste (Santa Ana) (5-11, 225) - Koste paced the Dons with 12 tackles, two sacks, three tackles-for-loss and a forced fumble in their 39-28 win over L.A. Harbor.
Trevor Kemp (Southwestern) (6-0, 200) - Kemp totaled 11 tackles, but the Jags still fell to Santa Monica by a score of 48-21.
Devin Christiansen (L.A. Pierce) (6-1, 236)* - The freshman led the way for the Brahmas, posting 10 tackles, one sack, one tackle-for-loss and a pass breakup as Pierce downed College of the Desert by a score of 30-10.

Northern California
Patrick Miranda (Chabot) (6-0, 235) - Miranda totaled nine tackles, one forced fumble and an interception, but Chabot still lost by a score of 26-10 to Diablo Valley.
Mikias Alipate (College of San Mateo) (6-1, 220) - Alipate racked up 10 tackles, a tackle-for-loss and a pass breakup in CSM's 51-41 win over Modesto.
Mason Montgomery (Butte) (6-0, 230) - Montgomery notched six tackles, one sack, two tackles-for-loss, two forced fumbles and a fumble recovery in Butte's 23-20 loss to Santa Rosa.
Sergio Guzman (Hartnell) (5-9, 190) - In Hartnell's 48-7 win over Redwoods, the smallish outside linebacker posted nine tackles, one sack and 2.5 tackles-for-loss.
Isadore Wood (Feather River) (5-11, 240)* - Wood totaled 10 tackles, one tackle for loss, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery in the Golden Eagles' 53-21 loss to College of the Sequoias.
Dawayne Pruitt (College of the Sequoias) (5-10, 215)* - The freshman had a team-leading eight tackles, one sack and 2.5 tackles-for-loss as the Giants downed Feather River 53-21.
Olajuwon Ferguson (Mendocino) (5-9, 215)* - The freshman posted seven tackles, 1.5 sacks and 1.5 tackles-for-loss as Mendocino got a 32-29 win over Gavilan.
Damon Perez (Gavilan) (6-2, 210)* - Gavilan lost their game, but Perez was all over the field, posting 19 tackles, two sacks and 3.5 tackles-for-loss in the losing effort.
Elijah Iakopo (Los Medanos) (6-3, 240) - Iakopo had an outstanding game in the Mustangs' 14-7 win over Monterey Penninsula, posting six tackles, three sacks and four tackles-for-loss.
Zack Moreland (Yuba) (6-0, 215) - Moreland racked up 12 tackles and a tackle-for-loss, but Yuba still dropped to 0-2 with a 28-6 loss to Merced.

DeMarcus Lloyd (Butler) (6-0, 215) - Lloyd was all over the place in Butler's huge 52-28 win over Hutchinson, posting 14 tackles , four tackles-for-loss, one fumble recovery, one interception and one pass breakup.
Kyle Wilson (Hutchinson) (5-10, 224) - Wilson had 15 tackles and a forced fumble in the Blue Dragons' 52-28 loss to Butler.
Josh Meis (Garden City) (6-2, 205) - Meis totaled eight tackles, two tackles-for-loss and an interception, but Garden City still dropped their game with Ellsworthy by a score of 38-14.
Tyree Horton (Highland) (6-1, 220) - The Florida State commit had 10 tackles and 1.5 tackles-for-loss, but the Scotties still lost their game with Iowa Western by a score of 13-6.
Gary Johnson (Dodge City) (6-1, 225)* - The freshman had a game-high 16 tackles to go along with a fumble recovery in Dodge City's 38-21 win over Independence.
Gabriel Loyd (Fort Scott) (6-1, 235) - The Greyhounds lost 48-25 to Coffeyville, but Loyd still had a big game, posting 14 tackles, two tackles-for-loss and two pass breakups.
Keenan Savage (Fort Scott) (6-0, 215) - The sophomore totaled 10 tackles on tackle-for-loss and an interception in Fort Scott's 48-25 loss to Coffeyville.
Darryl Waters (Coffeyville) (6-4, 245) - Waters had eight tackles, two tackles-for-loss and a sack while helping lead Coffeyville to a 48-25 win over Fort Scott.

Malik Hawkins (Northwest Mississippi) (6-1, 215) - Hawkins racked up nine tackles, a sack and two tackles-for-loss in the Rangers' 51-14 win over Northeast Mississippi.
Josh Samander (Southwest Mississippi) (6-2, 238) - The sophomore totaled 14 tackles and four tackles-for-loss in Southwest's 27-14 loss to Jones County.
Reggio Dean (Mississippi Gulf Coast) (5-10, 210)* - Dean had 12 tackles, a tackle-for-loss and a forced fumble in the Bulldogs' 30-14 win over East Central.

Chrishard Buhl (Northeastern Oklahoma A&M) (6-3, 220) - The sophomore totaled a game-high 15 tackles, but it wasn't enough as the Golden Norsemen dropped their game with Blinn by a score of 31-30.
Trent Soechting (Blinn) (6-3, 207)* - Soechting led the way for Blinn with 12 tackles while also posting three pass breakups and three quarterback hurries in Blinn's 31-30 win over Northeastern Oklahoma A&M.
Somari Wright (Tyler) (6-2, 245) - Wright led the Apaches with 10 tackles and two tackles-for-loss in their 76-23 win over Arkansas Baptist.

Arizona/Utah/New Mexico
Byron Evans (Glendale) (6-0, 205) - Evans led Glendale with 11 tackles in their 35-27 loss to Scottsdale.
Wesley Payne (Pima) (5-11, 220) - Payne notched 14 tackles, one sack and one tackle-for-loss in Pima's 58-31 win over New Mexico Military.
