The Bulldogs are now faced with three road games in a row. The Bulldogs are at Pearl River Community College next week and then travel to Itawamba and East Central after that.
Mid-way the first quarter, the Bulldogs drove deep into Eagle territory at the 21 where the drive stalled forcing the Bulldogs to attempt a 38-yard field goal off the leg of freshman Matt Jones. The Eagles broke through the line and blocked the punt. Hinds' Chris Porter picked up the loose ball and ran some 75 yards for the score. Trey Crum's kick put Hinds up 7-0.
The Eagles got on the scoreboard early in the second quarter when Hinds' quarterback Patrick Walker found receiver Chauncey Stovall on an eight yard touchdown pass. Crum's kick failed making the score 13-0 with 10:34 left in the first half.
The Bulldogs then got on the scoreboard in the second quarter when freshman running back Earnest Palmer broke loose at the Eagle 44 and raced in for the score. Jones' PAT made the score 13-7 with 5:07 left in the first half.
The Eagles then mounted another scoring drive late in the second quarter. Walker found Stovall again in the quarter, this time from 25 yards out. The run for two points failed making the score 19-7 at the half.
The Eagles then started the second half off at their own 40 after a 32-yard kickoff return. The Eagles then ran five plays before Coris London scored from a yard out to put the Eagles up 26-7 after Crum's kick with 13:05 left in the third quarter.
