JCFootball.com has been able to confirm that Highland LB Tyree Horton has received offers from Nebraska and Utah over the past week.
Those two offers join the full rides the talented linebacker had from the likes of Florida, Alabama, Auburn, Oklahoma, TCU, Arizona State, Arkansas State, Baylor, Florida State, Indiana, Marshall, North Texas and Syracuse.
As a freshman last season, Horton finished with a team-leading 63 tackles and 15 tackles-for-loss to go along with 6.5 sacks, one forced fumble, two fumble recoveries, three interceptions and three pass breakups.
So far this season, the sophomore has racked up 29 tackles and 3.5 sacks, five tackles-for-loss and a pass breakup.
Horton was committed to Florida State at one point, but the two parted ways late in the summer.
As far as official visits are concerned, Horton has taken one, to Oklahoma the first weekend of September and he plans to take the rest of his official visits before he makes his final decision.
Horton is on pace to finish up his two-year degree in December and he will have three years to play two following the completion of the 2015 football season.
