"I have offers from several FCS schools, but my only FBS offers, at least right now, are South Alabama and UTSA," Tanner Myers told JCFootball.com. "I filled out all of the official visit stuff and sent off my transcripts and I am visiting UTSA this weekend.
"South Alabama offered me about a week ago and they are coming to my school to see me next week and then they are trying to bring me up there to see the school and the facilities next weekend."
In addition to those schools, Myers has also been talking with UNLV, Middle Tennessee, Texas Tech, New Mexico, Charlotte, Colorado State, Texas State and ECU.
Since graduating from Gardner (Ks.) Edgerton High School, Myers has hit three junior colleges, hoping to find the right fit.
"I enrolled at Highland in 2013 and then I left after being there in the spring of 2014 and I redshirted," Myers said. "I attended a community college closer to home and got my academics in order and I also had a child, so I just needed to get all of that stuff straight.
"I enrolled here at Coffeyville in the spring (of 2015) and then I played here this fall."
Myers is on pace to finish up his degree in May and he will have three years to play starting in 2016.
