2016 Lackawana S Kyzir White recently added an offer from USC to his total

2016 Lackawana S Kyzir White (6-2, 205) grabbed his eighth offer recently and he updated JCFootball.com on how his sophomore season went and where things stand on the recruiting front...

"I just got an offer from USC," White told JCFootball.com. "I have offers now from Penn State, Arizona State, Louisville, Nebraska, Illinois, Pittsburgh and West Virginia.

"I've also been hearing from Arizona, but they haven't offered yet."

White maintains he is still committed to West Virginia, but he admits he's keeping his options open.

"I'm planning to visit West Virginia, USC and Penn State and then I am not sure what other schools I will visit if I take any more," White said. "I haven't talked to the (at West Virginia) about taking other visits, but I have to make the best choice for myself so that is what I am going to do."

As far as his sophomore season, White finished with 37 tackles, two tackles-for-loss, two fumble recoveries, three interceptions and four pass breakups from his safety spot.

"I felt like I played pretty well this year, but you always have to work to get better," White said. "I am focused on improving in all aspects of my game and going that extra mile for my team."

White plans to sign with a school on February 3rd and he will have three years to play two starting later this fall.
