2016 Globe CB Mike Daniels has narrowed his focus down to the two programs that have been after him from the beginning

2016 Globe CB Mike Daniels (6-0, 195) has narrowed things down to two schools and he says after his official visits later this month he will be ready to make his decision...

"I have had plenty of schools call here and there, but I'm not really worrying about them anymore," Daniels told JCFootball.com recently. "My main focus is on the schools who have been here from the start and those are West Virginia and Kansas."

Daniels will visit West Virginia on January 22nd and Kansas the following weekend (January 29th) before he makes his decision.

"I'm really just looking for a family oriented team," Daniels noted. "I am looking for good player and coach relationships and just a place that I feel like I can call home."

As a sophomore this season at Globe, Daniels finished tied for third in the nation with seven interceptions while also posting 37 tackles frome his corner spot.

"I love to play zone or man-to-man," Daniels told JCFootball.com back in November. "Pressing allows me to challenge my wide receiver and zone allows me to pick up on what the quarterback is trying to do an make plays."

Daniels is on pace to finish up his two-year degree in December and he will have three years to play two starting this fall.

We will have more on Daniels following his official visits and we will update news on him as it happens.
