"Arizona just offered me (on Wednesday)," Beal told JCFootball.com. "I also have offers from Akron, Bethune-Cookman, Delaware State, West Geogia, New Mexico, Stony Brook, Rhode Island and Ball State.
"This one is big for me. I'm really excited about it."
**Note: Beal has received an offer from Utah State since this story was published**
"I already visited Ball State (December 12th) and I will visit New Mexico on the 15th (of January) and with Arizona, I am still working out the dates, but I am planning to take a trip there as well."
As a sophomore this past season, Beal posted 31 tackles, nine tackles--for-loss and four sacks.
"I played outside linebacker," Beal said. "I blitz the best and chase down plays from the back side. That's what I do best."
This offseason, Beal is focused on eating right and putting on more size so he can handle the rigors of football at the four-year level.
Beal prepped at Reynoldsburgh (Oh.) High School and he was a sought-after recruit, but he was unable to qualify, so he decided to join the Falcons and he hasn't looked back.
"I didn't know what Junior Colleg was until a year later after graduation, so when I didn hear about Lackawanna, it was mainly because it was the closest to Ohio," Beal noted. "It's been a good experience for me. It's a great program and we have a bunch of talented guys here and it has made me better being here."
Beal is on pace to finish up his two year degree in May and he will have three years to play two starting this fall.
