"I committed to North Texas," Wyche told JCFootball.com. "I felt wanted by the coaches and they want to use me as a running back and catching the ball out of the back field and as a punt returner.
"I am verbally committed there, but I'm still open to other schools."
As a freshman last season, Wyche led Valley with 802 yards and 15 touchdowns on the ground while also hauling in 10 receptions for 110 yards and another score as a receiver out of the backfield.
"I'm explosive," Wych said when asked about his style as a runner. "I run hard and I run behind my pads. I have good speed. I have great hands in receiving and I'm the initiator in contact."
Wyche was a full-qualifier out of high schools, so he can leave at any time and he plans to enroll this summer, but until he signs with North Texas he remains open to other possibilities.
Wherever Wyche ends up, he will have four years to play three starting this fall.
