Nixon announced his offer from Missouri on his Twitter page early this morning.
The offer from the Tigers is the 12th for the talented corner, joining the ones he already had from California, Colorado State, Iowa State, Kentucky, Oregon State, San Diego State, Ball State, BYU, Illinois, Kansas State and UCF.
Nixon took an official visit to Colorado State in late July and has a visit set to see Iowa State on September 24th when the Cyclones take on San Jose State.
As a freshman for the Matadors last season, Nixon totaled 36 tackles and a team-leading five interceptions.
Last weekend, Nixon locked down his side of the field vs. Iowa Western and finished with three tackles in the Matadors' 25-19 win over the Reivers.
Nixon is on pace to finish up his academic work in December and he will have three years to play two following the 2016 football season.
