Week 1 Top Performers - Quarterbacks

Here's a look at some of the top JUCO quarterback performances from last week...


Last Week: Ta'amu had a huge day in the Broncos' thrilling 52-45 win over Northeastern Oklahoma as he finished the day 26 of 46 for 391 yards with five touchdowns and two picks. Ta'amu also carried the ball four times for 29 yards and two other scores.


Last Week: The freshman finished 25 of 42 for 281 yards with four touchdowns in Gavilan's 27-22 win over San Jose City.


Last Week: Indy lost a 22-20 heart-breaker to Fort Scott, but Banks did all he could to keep them close, going 6 of 16 for 116 yards with a touchdown and an interception while he also led the Pirates with 120 yards rushing with another score.


Last Week: Ricedorff went 29 of 48 for 427 yards with five touchdowns and one interception in Mesa's 42-41 nail-biting loss to Phoenix.


Last Week: In Santa Monica's 47-34 loss to West Los Angeles, Massett finshed the day 28 of 50 for 316 yards with five touchdowns and an interception.


Last Week: The Comets lost a 55-47 shootout with College of the Sequoias, but Burston did his best to keep them close going 23 of 40 for 345 yards with six touchdowns and two picks.


Last Week: In the Tigers6 46-26 win over Victor Valley, Fieber finished the day 29 of 48 for 311 yards and two scores.


Last Week: The Hornets got a big 56-17 win over Santa Ana and Hoy was a big reason why after going 25 of 34 for 302 yards with five touchdowns and an interception. He also led the team with 50 yards on the ground and added another score as a runner to cap off his day.


Last Week: Hudson led the Jaguars to a 34-28 win over Palomar by going 35 of 53 for 318 yards with three touchdowns and an interception. 


Last Week: The Pirates came away with a thrilling 47-40 win over Santa Barbara last week and Luton, an Idaho bounceback, was huge completing 36 of his 55 attempts for 487 yards with six touchdowns and an interception.


Last Week: Meier went 23 or 40 for 322 yards and five scores in the Vikings' 41-14 win over Pasadena.
