C-USA School Is First To Offer JUCO QB

It's taken a while, but 2017 Navarro QB Devlin Isadore (6-4, 221) has received his first offer and more could be on the way...

Isadore is currently on an unofficial visit to North Texas and he announced his offer from the Eagles on his Twitter page.

The offer is the first for Isadore, but several more schools, including Louisiana-LafayetteUCF and Louisville have also been showing him interest.

As a prep, Isadore signed with Angelo State, but he felt like he could play at a higher level so he left and headed to Navarro.

"I just didn't feel at home there," Isadore told JCFootball.com back in September. "I felt like I got overlooked a lot and just didn't get the looks I deserved, so I felt like it was a good opportunity for me to come to Navarro and get more on the radar with some schools because they have a great program here and the coaches are great at getting guys ready to play at the next level."

Isadore went 57 of 96 for 769 yards with six touchdowns and two picks before suffering a torn ACL in the third week of the season.

"I see myself more as a dual-threat guy, but at the same time I will sit in the pocket and make plays with my arm as well," Isadore saide. "I usually scramble to extend the play and keep my eyes down the field so I can find my receivers and get the ball into their hands."

Isadore is on pace to finish up his two-year degree in December and he will have three years to play three following the 2016 football season.
