Howard Emerging As A Star In The JUCO Ranks

2017 Fort Scott DL Reggie Howard (6-5, 275) has fast become one of the rising stars on the JUCO recruiting landscape and he recently updated about where things stand on the recruiting front...

Back in August, Howard committed to Colorado State and while he remains committed to the Rams, he's willing to listen to what other schools have to say.

"I have offers right now from Colorado State, Northern Illinois and Charlotte," Howard said. "I've also been talking a lot with HoustonUSCKentucky and New Mexico State."

As far as visits, Howard visited Colorado State during the summer and he visited Northern Illinois in late September.

"I'm going to visit Houston probably after our season," Howard noted.

As a sophomore this season, Howard has posted 25 tackles, three sacks and nine tackles-for-loss while playing every position along the defensive line.

"I can play the whole line," Howard said. "I'm versatile and can rush the quarterback or stop the run."

Howard is on pace to finish up his two-year degree in December and he will have three years to play two following the 2016 football season.
