Wimberly Grabs New Offer, Sets Two Visits

2017 Chaffey WR Marquis Wimberly (6-2, 205) has grabbed his third offer and recently he began to set up some official visits...

"Just got offered by Idaho," Wimberly told JCFootball.com shortly before announcing it on his Twitter page.

The offer from the Vandals joins the two Wimberly already had from the likes of San Jose State and Stephen F. Austin.

"The other schools talking to me the most are PurdueTroySouthern Mississippi and Bowling Green," Wimberly said.

He's also begun to set up his official visits.

"I'm visiting San Jose State on December 3rd and Purdue the second weekend of December (10th - 12th)," Wimberly added.

Wimberly is redshirting this season in the hopes of finding a home.

As a sophomore for Chaffey last fall, Wimberly led the team with 59 receptions for 782 yards and 14 scores.

Wherever he winds up, Wimberly will have two years to play two staring next fall.
