"It was a great visit," Winston told JCFootball.com. "The coaches up there were all really great and I feel like I gelled with them pretty well.
"All of the people there were really welcoming and they made me feel at home. The education there is great and the facilities are great and I think the offense there fits me perfectly.
"I really loved every part of my visit."
"I was also talking a lot with Ball State and Middle Tennessee State," Winston said. "Most of them were pushing for me to take a visit, but I wasn't able to fit it in and when Eastern Michigan set up a visit with me, most of them just stopped calling."
Winston said he hopes to make a decision shortly in anticipation of signing with a school on Wednesday.
"I could wait until Wednesday or I could make my decision tomorrow," Winston said. "I'm signing with a school on Wednesday so I need to make my decision pretty quickly here."
As a sophomore last season, Winston led his team in catches (71), yards (1,171) and touchdowns (12).
"I mainly was the outside receiver in our offense, but I played some slot too," Winston said. "I think the biggest thing for me is my hands, my hands and my routes actually.
"I feel like I run really good routes and when my quarterback throws the ball my way, I will bring it in and make a play with the ball in my hands."
As noted above, Winston plans to sign with a school this week and he will have three years to play two starting in the fall of 2017.
