Moody announced his decision to commit to Marshall on his Twitter page.
The talented linebacker chose the Thundering Herd over offers from East Carolina, Mississippi, Utah State, UTEP and Northern Colorado.
As a sophomore last season, Moody posted 90 tackles, eight sacks and two forced fumbles and earned First Team All-NCFC.
He's set to sign his letter-of-intent on tomorrow and he will have three years to play three starting in the fall.
