Burston Headed To The Mountain West

2017 Contra Costa QB Cameron Burston (6-4, 210) decided to commit to New Mexico over the weekend...


Burston announced his decision to commit to the Lobos on his Twitter page early on Sunday.


Burston chose New Mexico over offers from Fresno StateHawaii and San Jose State.

As a sophomore last season, Burston went 145 of 291 for 1,701 yards with 21 touchdowns and nine interceptions. He als rushed for 521 yards and four scores as well.

Burston will finish up his degree in May and he will have three years to play two starting in the fall.
