DT Lavell Mann, had 5 tackles with 2 sacks vs. Colorado (Long Beach/Colo. State)

WR Jeremiah Cockheran, a native of Fontana, Calif. (Chaffey CC), caught seven passes for 154 yards and three touchdowns in Hawai`i's 40-17 win over Appalachian State. The team co-captain caught touchdown strikes of 18, 54 and 35 yards and tied a school record with the three scoring receptions. It was his third career 100-yard game. WAC Player of the Week.

RB Terrance Freeney, 21 rushes for 64 yards and a TD vs. Iowa State (ND State CS/N Iowa).

RB Johnnie Mack, 4 rushes for 44 yards and a TD and 2 kick returns for 120 (CCSF/Texas Tech)

S Michael LeDet, made 4 tackles in his first D1 game (Trinity Valley/Tulsa)

Utah running back Brandon Warfield, (Kilgore College) whose 173-yard rushing game against Utah State last Thursday propelled the Utes to a 40-20 victory, has been named the Mountain West Conference co-offensive player of the week. Warfield, who also scored a touchdown and averaged 5.2 yards per carry, shared the weekly award with tight end Daniel Coats of Brigham Young. It marked the third straight 100-yard game for Warfield, dating back to last season. He rushed for 121 yards in the first half against the Aggies and accounted for 85 percent of Utah's 202 total rushing yards.

RB Jermaine Green, rushed 21 times for 59 yards (Butler Co./Wash. State)
LB Don Jackson, recorded 4 tackles incl. a 1/2 sack and a pass breakup (Grossmont/Wash. St.)

WR Aaron Neal, caught 4 balls for 45 yards in loss to Wisconsin (Ventura/W Virginia)

QB Chad Munson, was 30-50 for 333 with 2 picks and 2 INT vs. Michigan (Compton/W Mich.)
