Butler County Marching To Showdown With CCC

The Butler County Grizzlies continued their domination of Dodge City Community College with a resounding 37-8 win Saturday night in El Dorado.  The Grizzlies started quick as Soph. TB Joseph Harris scored from 27 yards out to give the Grizzlies a quick 7-0 lead.

Harris would score touchdowns on the next three drives on TD runs of 5, 2, and 6 yards respectively.  Sophomore TE Brent Hecht would add a touchdown reception of 17 yards to give BCCC a comfortable 35-0 at halftime.  The second half was a quick one as the reserves took over and earned some valuable playing time.  The defensive effort was highlighted by a safety by DE Jeremy Mincey to put BCCC up 37-0.  Dodge scored a meaningless touchdown with a minute to go in the game to finalize the scoring at 37-8.
