Here's our weekly look at top performers from around the nation. Golden West WR Ryan Partridge, 6-2, 205, caught 7 passes for 151 yds and a TD in a recent game. He leads the Mission Conference with 40 catches for 651 yds and 6 scores. Meanwhile in Texas, BLINN RB Derrick Ross carried 20 times for 265 yds and 2 TDs in a 51-19 win over Cisco. QUARTERBACKS

SANTA ROSA – Jordan Borowicz hit on 20 of  37 passes for 355 yards and 5 TDs in 3 periods in 47-10 win over Shasta.

CHAFFEY – Nick Davila, was 22 of 33 for 354 yards in win over San Diego Mesa.

N.E. MISS – Matthew Stevenson, completed 26 of 44 for 331 yards and a pair of scores in 24-27 loss to Holmes.

PASADENA – Luke Sniewski, was 16 of 26 for 320 yards and 2 TDs in 50-49 loss to Santa Ana.

L.A. SOUTHWEST – Brian Johnson, 5-11, 170, completed 23 of 35 for 318 and 3 TDs in 34-0 win over East LA. 

EAST CENTRAL – Terrell Robinson, was 20 for 39 for 311 and 3 TDs in 31-40 loss to Northwest.

LONG BEACH – Jason Washington, completed 20 of 35 for 260 yards, 4 TDs and ran 17 times for 91 yards in loss to Cerritos.

N.E. OKLAHOMA – Andre Daniel, rushed for 100 on 11 carries, including 50-yard TD run and was 16 of 20 for 231 vs. Kilgore.

HINDS – Terrance Matthews, 6-1, 205, was 18 of 27 for 215 and a TD in key 17-10 win over Jones.

RUNNING BACKS 

CITRUS – Quinton Ganther, 5-10, 200, 36 trips for 279 yards and California record-tying 6 TDs.  (Ties 4 other backs)

BLINN – Derrick Ross, carried 20 times for 265 yards and 2 TDs in 51-19 win over Cisco.

PASADENA – Jerome Harrison carried 27 times for 255 yards and 3 TDs and caught 3 passes for 37 yards vs. Santa Ana. 

L.A. PIERCE – Roger Daley, packed the ball 32 times for 241 yards in 34-0 loss to Hancock.

VICTOR VALLEY – Bennie Curry, 5-8, 237, ploughed for 229 yards and 2 TDs in 28 attempts, in 47-6 win over Southwestern.

FORT SCOTT – Brett Biggs ran for 213 yards on 16 carries and 2 TDs in 28-63 first round playoff loss to Garden City.

HUTCHINSON – Leonar Brice, had 208 yards  on 21 trips for 2 TDs in 21-6 first round playoff  win over Dodge City.

HUDSON VALLEY – Emmanuel Marc packed the leather 41 times for 204 yards 2 TDs, in 14-7 OT win over Nassau.  It was his 11th straight 100-plus game and 4th over 200 yards.

ALFRED STATE – Cornell Johnson, 6-1, 210, was 27 for 193 and 2 scores vs. Canton.

BUTLER COUNTY – Terrie Petrie went for 186 yards on 18 carries and TDs of 3, 7, 20 and 77 yards and Joseph Harris, 109 yards in 11 efforts with 2 more scores.  He has been over 100 yards in 15 of his last 16 games.

SAN FRANCISCO – Tim Brown, 5-7, 180, 26 rushes for 191 yards 1 TD, (90-910-12) 3 catches for 49 yards.

L.A. HARBOR – Joe Harris had 18 trips for 170 yards in loss to Glendale.

GARDEN CITY – QB Chris Nelson gained 168 yards on 11 carries, 2 TDs  2 passing; RB Andre Hall went 20 for 131.

BUTTE – Freshman Jason Peters, 6-1, 226, pounded out 157 yards on 27 carries in 61-48 win over Sacramento. 

NEW MEXICO MILITARY – Kendrick Johnson, 5-11, 235, gained 155 yards and scored 4 TDs in 62-29 win over E. Arizona.

COFFEYVILLE – Fr. Arkee Whitlock, had 13 carries for 145 and 2 TDs and Lee Baker reached the 1,000-yard plateau with 121 in 8 efforts. It was Baker's 7th straight 100-yard game.  The Ravens dropped Highland 48-7 in first round of Kansas playoffs.

EAST MISS – John Henderson, 5-9, 191, carried 18 times for 121 yards and 4 TDs, in 43-14 win over Coahoma.

ERIE – Terrin Usher, went over 1,000 yards (1,028) with 9 carries for 120 yards.  The previous week against Canton he was 26 for 274-2

RECEIVERS

L.A. SOUTHWEST – James Thompson, WR caught 6 passes for 147 yards and a TD

CHAFFEY – WR Greg Prator, 8 catches for 95 and 3 TDs in win over San Diego Mesa

MESABI RANGE – Bryan Dalton, 6-0, 205, caught 10 passes for 194 yards and 3 TDs vs. Itasca.  He leads Minnesota in each category

NORTHLAND – Melvin Simmons, 5 solo, 13 assists giving him 96 tackles, as team downed Rainy River 28-7.

DEFENSE

N.W. MISS. – LB Terrance Smith, 15 solo stops, 5 assists, 1 TFLs and a fumble recovery    

HARPER – When team beat Grand Rapids 31-21 DB Manny Bell intercepted 3 passes 43, 39 and 65 yards and 1 TD.

ALFRED ST. – SS Tom Reed, (5-11, 182) had 4 picks, 8 tackles and 5 passes broken up in 34-28 win over Canton

ALLAN HANCOCK – LB Chris Nunez, 6-2, 240, had 9 tackles and a sack vs. Pierce.

GROSSMONT – Marcus Beecher, 5-9, 180, made 2 INTs, one returned for a 42-yard TD and DB Maurice London, 6-1, 180, had 1 INT and a recovered fumble in stopping College of Desert 48-14.

BLINN – Lester Johnson, who leads the SWJCFC with 14 sacks, had 4 vs. Cisco, plus 4 tackles and a fumble recovery

TRINITY VALLEY – DL Donald Paul, 6-2, 275, recorded 8 tackles and a pair of sacks in 53-7 loss to Tyler

NE. OKLAHOMA – DB Fred Shaw, 6-1, 205, had 2 INTs for 57 yards, blocked a punt, deflected 3 passes and had 4 tackles.

OTHERS

HOLMES – WR Eric Marshall, had 4 kickoff returns for 138 yards (one a 93-yard TD), in 27-24 win over NE Miss.

PEARL RIVER – Larry Kendrick, caught 4 passes for 145 yards and 2 scores, returned 2 punts for 33 yards in 35-21 win over Jones on 10-18.  In 8 games he has 7 interceptions for 138 yards as a DB and he leads in PR with 10 for 18.6 avg.

MINNESOTA WEST – CB Dustin Lopez, 5-11, 175, made 2 INTs, 2 solo tackles, 6 assists, 1 KOR for 46 yards vs. Ridgewater.

PREVIOUSLY

SOLANO – RB Delane Ingram, 5-10, 185, was 21-206-0 TD, in37-7 win over Mendocino.

SISKIYOUS – RB Keith Cage, 5-9, 175, ran 36 times for 200 yards and 2 TD in OT 31-28 loss to American River.

GAVILAN – Freshman RB Elray Henry, 5-11, 215, 20-179-3, in 28-6 win over DeAnza.

SAN JOAQUIN DELTA – Frosh WR Justin Huey, 5-9, 174, hauled in 10-183-3, in 42-22 win over Yuba.

AMERICAN RIVER – QB Phil Bensing, 6-2, 200, was 26-46-294-4 TD, in beating Siskiyous.

WEST VALLEY – QB Jason Campbell, 6-2, 208, was 23-33-292-5 TD in leading team to 49-28 upset of Laney.

LONG BEACH – Wally Fujah, 5-11, 205, blocked FG and had 10 solo and 2 assists, in 17-14 loss to Orange Coast.
