PROSPECT REPORT: Coffeyville CC

The Coffeyville CC Red Ravens regularly produce top division prospects. 2001 is no exception as they have between six and eight athletes who will get major interest. Through six games the team is 3-2, but has played its toughest competition already.

RB Muhammed Abdulqaadir
JC Top 101
(5-8, 205)
St. Louis, MO

Comments: Second-team All-Conference as a frosh. Off to a somewhat slower start in 2001 with 118 carries for 644 yards (5.5 avg.) and twelve TDs through six games. "A tremendous athlete with great speed," according to an opposing coach. "The real deal. I think Mo will have a chance to play on Sundays. He has a lot of poise and knows how to read his blocks. This past spring he broke two records. He ran a 4.45 forty (three averaged together) and set a parallel squat record at 620-pounds," said one Coffeyville coach. Averaging about 105 yards per game for an I-back team.. Good hands out of backfield. The type of back who cannot be single tackled. Also, a kick returner. Being recruited by Michigan State (heavy; Billy Miller is coach there and is a Kansas guy) and letters from Nebraska, Big 12, and many others. No off-the-field problems and very personable. Graduates in December. Only 6 credits short. 2x2 guy. Missouri almost signed him out of high school.

DE Mondre Dickerson
JC Top 101
(6-4, 265)
Memphis, TN

Comments: Three sacks (2 UA) in first six games and 36 total tackles. He's a player. Former PrepStar AA, who signed with Tennessee Volunteers. Will go back according to a Coffeyville coach. "He is athletic. He ran a 4.58 forty for us at 265 pounds. Really starting to come into his own. Probably one of the smartest football players on our team as far as football knowledge. He knows what everybody is doing out there." Has the physical ability to play on Sundays but maybe needs to be more physical. Set all time power clean record at 365 for Coffeyville. Could have been more dominant as a frosh but now coming into his own. Legit height. On track to graduate in December.

DT Atiyyah Ellison
JC Top 101
(6-5, 295)
St. Louis, MO

Comments: Redshirted last year. 4.96 forty. Unbelievable with great motor. 595 squat; 405 bench. Very low body fat (7%). " Great work ethic and wonderful person," according to one Coffeyville coach. Signed with Missouri out of high school at a time when he was a measly 6-4, 230. Now he has recommitted to the Tigers, a team he loves despite heavy interest from schools like Florida. Through six games this season, Ellison has recorded 34 tackles with a 3 sacks. He will graduate in December and will have 3x3 of eligibility.

DB Delenell Reid
JC Top 101
(5-10, 180)
Bearden, AR

Comments: Very, very athletic who was moved to SS this year. 34" vertical with legit 4.38 forty. Graduated in summer and is retaking some classes to raise grades. Committed to Arkansas last year but didn't get needed credits, so he's back at Coffeyville. A top-flight player in the conference. Has 32 tackles through six games  Former CCC teammate, Gavin Walls, is now getting major PT in his first year for the Razorbacks. Open to recruitment.

OL Ryan Lilja
(6-3, 305)
Kansas City, KS

Comments: Honorable-mention All-Conference as a frosh. Missed his senior year of HS ball and is now making up for lost time. "He's our best offensive lineman. Has a 4.0 grade point average for us right now." 600- pound squatter and 385 bench press. A little bit stiff in his hips and needs to improve on flexibility. Getting lots of mail. He likes Kansas State and would like to get a look from them.

Rover Orlandus Williams
(6-0, 185)
Witchita, KS

Comments: Runs a 4.41 forty. "Very special player. Very fast and will knock your 'dick' in the dirt. Wins weekly big hit awards. Plays extremely fast. He won't graduate until spring," said a Coffeyville coach. 46 tackles and 2 sacks through six games is second most on the team. Also, 8 tackles for loss is among tops in conference. 2 forced fumbles leads conference, too. 3x2 eligibility.

DB Marcus Stiger
(5-7 1/2, 180)
Russellville, AR

Comments: Undersized cornerback who makes plays, especially as a return man. Big-time motor. Legit 4.3 forty who practices hard all the time. 5 INTs in six games is among tops in conference. Plus 16 punt returns for 236 (14.8 avg.) and 13 KO returns for 326 (25.1 avg.). Has forced one fumble. Near top of all special teams return categories.
