Congratulations to the Butler County Grizzlies on their NJCAA National Championship. Today they beat host Dixie State by the score of 14-10. The DSC Rebels led for most of the first half, but couldn't score in the 2nd half. In fact, Butler Co. held the Rebels to basically no yards in the 2nd half and sacked DSC 3 times for 26 yards in losses.

Butler County's blitzing defense was the difference in the game. They mixed up it up and DSC's offense could never adjust.

Dixie QBs were held to 8-29 passing with a pair of INTs and their RB David Anger only gained 66 yards.

The Rebels finish their season 10-2.

Butler running back Joseph Harris rushed the ball 32 times for over 120 yards.

DSC's Brandon Sanchez got MVP honors along with Chad Wilmott, who is Butler's QB. The latter was 9-20 passing for about 80 yards but he had some key rushing yards (sorry, I didn't catch the yardage.)
