*Unsigned Sophomore Report* Brian Romney played for Snow College, which finished tied for 4th in the NJCAA rankings this season with a 9-1 record.  He was the leading receiver for Snow College and also returned punts. During his two year career at Snow, he was voted an All-American and a Scholar Athlete and also received conference accolades. 

In those two years, he totaled more than 2,900 all purpose yards of which 1,870 were receiving yards on 119 receptions.

  • A leading punt returner in the NJCAA with 4 punts returned for TDs. Averaged 20.3 yards per punt return on 30 returns (610 yards)
  • 1st in WSFL Conference, All purpose yards (1,432 yards)
  • 1st in WSFL Conference, receiving yards/game 76 yards (10 games, 48 rec. for 763 yards)
  • NJCAA Player of the Week (October 21)
  • Top 5 in WSFL Conference, Scoring

Prior to the 2003 season, Brian went on a Mormon Church mission to Romania from September 2000 to November 2002.  His eligibility status is 3 years to play 2.

Freshman season highlights (1999)

  • 2nd team NJCAA All American Receiver, Snow College
  • 1st in NJCAA in receptions per game (7.0/game)
  • 1st in WSFL Conference with 1500 all purpose yards
  • 1st in WSFL Conference in receptions and receiving yards (70 rec/1106 yards)
