PROSPECT PROFILE: Graham Gochneaur

Kilgore College is 9-0 and all alone atop the SWJCFA in Texas. Part of the reason for the team's success is the play of QB Graham Gochneaur. The 6-4, 205-pound quarterback has good speed and excellent size.

Comments: Has led Kilgore to undefeated season so far. Comes out of Flower Mound Marcus HS in Texas, which has turned out many good quarterbacks. Didn't play enough in high school to get many D1 looks and went JC route at suggestion of his HS offensive coordinator. Graduated HS at midterm, which is rare.

Earned the starting job at Kilgore by 3rd game of his freshman season and went 5-3. Was given captain's role for sophomore season. Doesn't throw as much as many quarterbacks due to running of Brandon Warfield, who is probably the conference's top tailback.

Shows good presence in the pocket and has a nice touch on the ball.

Recruiting hasn't really picked up yet although Arizona looked at him in the spring.Others showing some level of interest include West Virginia and Mississippi State.

Sophomore totals through nine games: 95-181-1,254 with 10 TDs and 9 INTs. Graduates in December.
