2005 Arizona All-Combine Team

This is the 2005 All-Arizona Combine Team. Offensive and defensive players were chosen based on overall testing performance, not performance on the gridiron, coach's recommendation, or 'four-year recruitability.' Additionally, we decided to go with a certain number of players at each position instead of best testers regardless of position. Unsigned sophomores -- many of whom turned in great performances -- were not included.

Notes:

The WR who turned in the best 'testing' marks was Scottsdale's Joshua King (6-0, 211). He ran a 4.38 forty, vertical jumped 40.3 inches, hoisted 16 reps of 225, and ran a 4.5 shuttle. He listed a spring 2005 transfer date, so we're not sure he's eligible for our all-combine team. If we find out that he's got one more year at Scottsdale, then consider him 'on the team.'

We didn't formally test kickers and punters at the Arizona combine. Nevertheless, many came by and participated in testing and informal kicking. Jason Wood's combine numbers weren't too bad!
